Documentary helps fistula patients in the developing world.
John N. Campbell has completed editing a documentary for the ASSISTS foundation which has partnered with other non-profits to create a DVD-based surgical training program to educate African surgeons to treat the widespread problem of obstetric fistula in the developing world.  This is the second fund-raising video that Campbell has edited for ASSISTS, which stands for "America Senegal Surgical Initiative- Surgeons Teaching Surgeons."  The documentary was produced by Albert Ruenes, a founder of ASSISTS and a leader of urologic surgery.  The documentary features Dr. Catherine Hamlin who has devoted her life's work to treating fistula patients in Ethiopia and founded a hospital there specifically for fistula patients.  Dr. Hamlin has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
